Wanderbus Karriere 2021
In 2019, the Goethe-Institut’s Wanderbus was one of the highlights of the Year of German-American friendship and travelled over 25,000 miles across the United States and visited over 60 schools and universities in the process. In 2020 the Wanderbus got an upgrade, taking it to the virtual skies and continuing its journey around the country!
The Wanderbus Karriere is a virtual 3D world designed to give students an impression about a career in Germany. Teachers and their students can explore the possibility of studying at a German university, gain insights into research at German research institutes and experience in 360 degree videos what a dual apprenticeship program looks like in Germany and the USA. Of course, there are also plenty of fun facts and quizzes!
In May, the Wanderbus Karriere will be visiting the following schools and universities:
Dobyns Bennett High School
Samuel V. Champion HS
Cherry Hill High School East
Lodi High School
Menchville High School
