EVENT DETAILS

Sustainability Forum - Earth Day 2022

April 22, 2022, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET

The global climate crisis is the most urgent threat of our time. Its devastating impacts are already being felt all over the world, causing substantial damage to ecosystems and threatening the lives of millions of people. One thing is clear: slowing down or averting some of the worst environmental effects of climate change will require broad systemic changes at all levels of society. To this end, the United Nations developed the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were adopted by all member states in 2015.

But where do we start? How do we translate new ideas and strategies into tangible, real-world projects? What is the role of new technologies in advancing climate change goals? And what can climate-conscious people in the US and Germany learn from each other?

Join us on April 22 at 1pm EST (7pm ECT) to find out more. All virtual and at no cost. Please use the following hashtag: #GoetheSustainability

Speakers:

Leonie und Zoe Prillwitz; Students from Claremont und Chandler High School

Host:
