Predicting the Transatlantic Future

The American Bundestag Network (ABN) and Cultural Vistas are facilitating a series of online meetings between members of German-American exchange alumni in fall 2020 with a generous grant from “Wunderbar Together” funds. This will continue development of the core themes of the May 2019 Transatlantic Alumni Conference: Securing the future of transatlantic citizen diplomacy and improving alumni networking between established German-American exchange associations.

The online series comprises five online meetings in September and October 2020. To maximize participation on both sides of the Atlantic, the events will take place on varying days as below. All times are TBA. Participants are requested to register at the link below. All sessions will be recorded.

October 16, 2020: Election Experts - Predicting the Transatlantic Future

Steven Sokol, American Council on Germany's President, will moderate a high-level discussion with transatlantic foreign policy thought leaders on the upcoming elections and their consequences for the German-American relationship. Among the featured speakers are
