Transatlantic Get-Together: German-American Perspectives on International Security

The second meeting of  “Transatlantic Get-Together” series hosted by Auslandsgesellschaft and the Buffalo Dortmund Sister City Committee will take place on Wednesday, July 28th. This time, we are talking to experts from both countries about German-American perspectives on international security, a highly relevant topic that has made headlines repeatedly in recent years.

Panelists:

Dr. Torrey Taussig, Research Director for the Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship and the American Secretaries of State Project at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs

Ben Hodges, retired Lieutenant General

Horst Kläuser, Journalist and former USA correspondent for WDR

Moderated by:

Gerald Baars, Head of the German-American Society of Auslandsgesellschaft and long-time ARD studio manager in New York

Dan Scanlon, Graduate of Buffalo State College
